Terms and Conditions for Travel Services

Welcome to A17 Expeditions, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). These A17 Expeditions terms govern your use of our website www.a17exp.com and any booking or purchase of travel-related services made through the website or any official representative, agent, or affiliate of A17 Expeditions, LLC. By using our website and/or booking services with us or through our authorized representatives, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

Client, You, or Your means the individual or entity booking travel services through A17 Expeditions, LLC.

Travel Services include, but are not limited to, transportation, accommodations, tours, excursions, travel insurance, luxury hotel sourcing, and other related services arranged or provided by A17 Expeditions, LLC.

Booking means the reservation or purchase of Travel Services through our website or directly via any authorized representative, agent, or affiliate of A17 Expeditions, LLC.

2. Booking and Payment

Bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

Travel Services may be booked directly through the website or via any official representative, agent, or affiliate authorized by A17 Expeditions, LLC.

A17 Expeditions, LLC requires full or partial payment as specified at the time of booking. All payments must be made in U.S. dollars.

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice until payment is received in full. We reserve the right to cancel bookings for non-payment, fraudulent payment methods, or suspected fraud.

Credit card payments may be subject to processing fees. Service fees and commissions vary depending on the travel services booked and will be disclosed prior to booking.

3. Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds

Cancellation and change policies vary depending on the travel service providers (airlines, hotels, tour operators, etc.) and will be communicated at the time of booking.

Refund eligibility is governed by third-party supplier policies; A17 Expeditions, LLC is not responsible for supplier-imposed penalties or fees. Requests for cancellations or changes must be submitted in writing. Service fees or penalties may apply for any changes or cancellations. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 30 days after confirmation from suppliers.

4. Travel Documents and Client Responsibility

Clients are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying all necessary travel documents including valid passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and any other required documentation.

A17 Expeditions, LLC is not responsible for denied boarding, entry refusal, or any loss or expense resulting from failure to comply with governmental or carrier regulations. Clients must comply with all laws and regulations applicable to their travel destinations.

5. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that Clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and baggage loss. Assistance in arranging travel insurance is available upon request but is the Client’s sole responsibility.

6. Supplier Changes, Cancellations, and Force Majeure

A17 Expeditions, LLC acts solely as an intermediary between you and third-party travel service providers ("Suppliers") such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators. We do not control these Suppliers and are not liable for any changes, delays, cancellations, or errors caused by them. Suppliers may change itineraries, schedules, prices, or availability at any time without prior notice.

A17 Expeditions, LLC is not responsible for any loss, damage, additional expenses, or inconvenience resulting from such changes or cancellations. Unexpected events including, but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, government restrictions, epidemics, pandemics, or other events beyond our reasonable control ("Force Majeure Events") may disrupt or cancel services. While we will make reasonable efforts to assist affected clients, A17 Expeditions, LLC is not liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from Force Majeure Events. Clients are responsible for maintaining flexible travel plans and securing appropriate travel insurance to cover such risks.

7. Limitation of Liability

A17 Expeditions, LLC is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by suppliers, airlines, hotels, or other third parties. Our liability for any claim related to services provided is limited to the amount paid by the Client to A17 Expeditions, LLC for the specific service in question. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability for Personal Injury or Death

A17 Expeditions, LLC expressly disclaims any liability for personal injury, death, or loss suffered by Clients or travelers resulting from or related to any mode of transportation, accommodation, activity, or travel services arranged through or outside of our agency. Travel inherently involves risks which you voluntarily assume. You agree that A17 Expeditions, LLC shall not be held liable for any injury, death, or damages arising from acts or omissions of third-party providers or events beyond our control.

9. Independent Bookings

If any travel components, including but not limited to airline tickets, accommodations, or activities, are booked independently by the Client and not through A17 Expeditions, LLC or its authorized representatives, A17 Expeditions, LLC assumes no responsibility or liability for those components. Any issues, changes, cancellations, or disputes related to independently booked services must be resolved directly with the relevant provider.

10. Client Conduct

Clients agree to behave responsibly and comply with all rules and policies of travel suppliers and authorities. A17 Expeditions, LLC reserves the right to terminate services or refuse bookings for Clients who engage in inappropriate or illegal conduct.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless A17 Expeditions, LLC, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your breach of these A17 Expeditions terms, negligence, or willful misconduct.

12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall first be subject to good faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in Bexar County, Texas. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Privacy

Your personal information will be collected, used, and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking with us, you consent to our collection and use of personal data necessary to provide travel services.

All services provided are offered solely by A17 Expeditions, LLC. We are not responsible for the business practices, policies, or obligations of any other travel entity or platform.

17. Age Restrictions

Clients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to book and participate in travel services.

18. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and A17 Expeditions, LLC and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.

19. Amendments

A17 Expeditions, LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
